Well, We come to the end of another week...Unless... We will work late today, and early tomorrow. There is no perceptible end or beginning to a week, a month, or even a year. They all seem to run together. One day morphs into another. If not for the calendar in the lower right hand corner of the computer screen we could not distinguish one hour, one day or one month from another. We are members of the "do da" tribe. Our primary interest in life, "do da" check come yet? We simply want to get our hands on that check. There are bills to pay, mouths to feed, and fears to borrow from tomorrow. It is only 10 weeks, 76 days, until Christmas!!! In the mean time there is Halloween candy (lots of expensive Halloween candy and decorations) to buy, Thanksgiving Dinner to provide, and ....oh, what's the use? God only gave us 24 hours in a day because that is all we can handle...and to handle those few hours we need to sleep at least 8 of them! Yet, Friday is hardly over before we are consumed with the next day's and next week's perceived problems and cares. No one understands. Even worse, no one cares! I mean, you have a $3,000.00 payroll to make next Friday, and you don't have $100.00. Sure, you just made payroll this morning but now you are broke and you don't know how you are going to make it next week. Everyone but you is busy planning their weekend and their holidays. Your hair is prematurely gray, your head is balding earlier that your dad's did, you are over weight, you have chewed the mouth piece off your favorite Dunhill, you have high blood pressure and your cholesterol is all out of wack...well duh !!!!!!! If you notice a red, sore throat, with swollen neck lymph nodes, a fever, headache, and white spots on your tonsils, then you probably have what is known as strep throat. In childrens cases, it can cause abdominal pain, nausea, and even vomiting. Symptoms such as a stuffy nose, sneezing, and coughing, which are common for colds, are not generally seen in the case of strep throat. If harsh symptoms do not arise, and you are untreated, you could be infecting people in your surroundings for the first 2 to 3 weeks of contraction. After a treatment has begun, however, you are only contageous for the next 24 to 28 hours. Generally, you contract strep throat through a bacterium that is spread by close contact to an infected person. In some cases you can get the virus through contaminated food. He told an interviewer that before batting he had talked to the young boy who was the England mascot for the day. The lad had already had three heart by pass operations. This made Vaughan feel less tension as he realised that, at the age of thirty, he had so much to be thankful for and that scoring or not scoring runs was not that important in the whole scheme of things. He also decided to bat on intuition and not to think too much. He had already done his thinking and his practice. Once he was facing some of the best bowlers in the world, he would not have time to think. His plan worked and he smashed the ball all over the place. However, in the end Australia held out for a draw. They were saved mainly by the rain which meant that England had less time to get them out than was necessary. But while smaller fruits might be what nature originally intended, it is possible to attain larger fruits without any genetic altering or added chemicals. It is only through advanced techniques that the professionals reach such large sizes with their fruits. Usually in the early stages of a fruit trees growing, veterans do something called “fruit thinning”. The theory behind this process is that with less fruits to pay attention to, the tree will be able to more efficiently send cells to the leftover fruits. When there are hundreds of little fruits on one tree, competing for the available materials necessary for growth, you will most likely just end up with a bunch of stunted fruits. To take care of this problem, simply pluck a third of the fruits extremely early on in the process. You should notice larger fruits that season.
