Vedic astrology more on saturn and his aspects

In Vedic astrology, the three most outer planets of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn each cast a special aspect. The word aspect is actually not very accurate. Like many Western words that try to convey Eastern concepts, the actual word is "drishti" which means "look" or "glance". For you see, in Vedic thinking, culture and cosmology -- the planets are beings of intelligence that have been around since time immemorial. Their movements and energies are not just relevant as "archetypes" - they represent real forces, eternal forces of the universe that transcend our 80 to 100 year lifespan. They connect us to that eternal, cosmic nature that we forget here on the flat Earth in which we live in our day to day lives. Each of these planets are bodies of light that can "see" in different directions. Saturn sees 3 signs in front and 10 signs in front. That is his special look. This look conveys the essence of his nature. With Saturn occupying Leo he will be "watching" the sign of Libra and the Sun of Taurus for the next two years, both ruled by Venus. If anyone has planets in Sidereal Libra or Taurus, Saturn will also be watching them. Regardless, wherever those houses fall in your Sidereal / Vedic chart will be under his watchful eye. Saturn aspects create trouble by shattering our illusions around the things he sees. Sometimes this results in losing the thing entirely, other times we may just worry about it or have to put forth immense effort in order to maintain it. This process of worry/effort/potential loss forces us to either deepen our commitment to it, or let it go. This is why we tend to lose things when Saturn starts moving. He tends to push things to a point of seriousness where they either break or we have to work to improve them. There's a great story about Saturn aspects, Saturn's "looks". Once, Lord Shiva and Parvati after having their first child Lord Ganesh, held a party and invited all of the gods, Demi Gods and Planets to participate. It was a beautiful celebration except one of the planets, Lord Saturn, seem to be kind of depressed and moping in the corner (go figure!) - in fact he would not even look at the beautiful Ganesh. Now, the planets are powerful -- but they are not as powerful as the gods, especially the mighty Lord Shiva and Mother Shakti, Parvati. So the great goddess upon seeing Lord Saturn unmoved by the festivities asked him why he was not participating. Saturn replied "Great Goddess, your child is beautiful and I do not want my looks to ruin that beauty - a glance from me is not always welcome". "Nonsense!", declared Parvati, "I insist you look at my child immediately!". At which time Lord Saturn gaze gently at the beautiful Ganesh. No sooner did Saturn look at Ganesh, then did the beautiful boys head falloff!! One look from Saturn decapitated Ganesh. Lord Shiva went to find a suitable replacement head and was said to have found the head of one of Lord Indra's elephants - and so Ganesh was given this elephant head. And so it is said that the Saturn aspects can be more difficult than the Saturn conjunction. So this means, for the last couple of years Saturn has been looking at the signs of Sidereal Virgo and Aries. Does that speak to anyone?

Spirituality information journey in the fields of forever part 3

I recalled my first flight as a teenager leaving one country for another to continue my education. The excitement of foreign adventures was mixed with the sadness of leaving my family. As the plane took off and the northern coast of South America dropped below the horizon, I remember brushing a small tear off my cheek, yet smiling at the glorious possibilities of exploring a new, fascinating and sometimes frightening world. It would be years before I would see my family again. I don’t sleep much on airplanes and I read very little when up in the air. High above the clouds enveloped in this meditative environment, I much prefer to reflect on the nature of reality, to philosophize and luxuriate alone in my thoughts. Today was no different as I reflected on the past week. Indeed it was a grueling one. My body’s bio-clock was indecisively choosing among time zones across three continents, but my mind, at ease on an uncrowded flight, was drifting among the clouds of yesterday and tomorrow. Yawning, I glanced through the window again. If you leave London in the late afternoon flying west ward toward New York, you would experience a prolonged twilight period. It’s as if you were racing after the sun, never quite catching up as it drops into its nest in the west, leaving you to sleep or gaze hypnotically in its spell. Another yawn as I glanced again at the clouds. There weren’t many of them, but they appeared to come to life changing shapes and evolving into new, intriguing forms, ever so slowly, ever so peacefully as we sailed overhead. Here was one that resembled a giraffe, long neck, spots and all stood out against the pale blue sky. And over there, another cloud took the shape of an acacia tree, complimenting the giraffe on the African landscape. Lower and somewhat farther to my right was one shaped like a car — a Volkswagen beetle no less.

Defining prosperity is that really prosperity or just plain lazy

My prosperity partner wrote an article “Defining Prosperity for Myself”, and now I'm writing the opposing view “Defining Prosperity - Is That Really Prosperity or Just Plain Lazy”…I'll put a link at the end of this article so you can read the first article. In the article she writes “I have learned over the past year that prosperity, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. I have a goal of having a five million dollar net worth invested with a 10 % return that gives me a passive income of $500,000 a year. Someone that I know has a dream of having a net worth exceeding $400 million dollars. Is her goal to have more prosperity than I intend to have? That is a trick question to which the answer is no. Her goal is definitely to have more money than I intend to have but remember that money does not equate prosperity.” Of course I take massive pride in the fact that I am the someone she knows who has the goal of a net worth exceeding $400 million dollars! The article goes on to say “I am not close to my extended family, but my immediate family is my second priority. When my children are happy, healthy and bursting with joy, I know that I am being prosperous. Every day that my husband and I still love and adore each other is another day of prosperous living for me. Some of my friends are like family to me and their involvement in my life makes me feel prosperous beyond measure. I know that I am loved and I believe that love is the ultimate treasure. When you are truly loved, you are the richest person on earth.” Man that was a mouthful - So now I ask you is that truly prosperity or just plain lazy! Since when does being prosperous involve how others feel and interact with you? So does that mean one isn't prosperous if all the friends left and the children are unhappy and your spouse decided to not have 2am conversations with you and NO ONE loved you? That is her measure of prosperity isn't it? So you remove all those things and the prosperity is now gone right! The world is filled with creative energy and while I'm all for the concept that everyone is entitled to whatever they want, and that we should allow each person to want whatever makes them happy... I'm also for the concept that most people in society don't aim very high because they are afraid of failure. Now to have enough creative energy to create or attract 5 million dollars - anyone can do that. But how much creative energy does it take to attract or create 400 million? We grow up in an environment where we set the bar really low on what we can or will achieve - JUST IN CASE if we don't make it we won't feel so bad. Most people in society want nothing more than a 9-5 and to retire with a 401k. You know I've been saying for years I want to be on the Forbes 400 richest Americans list and in all that time that I say this I have never heard anyone say ‘REALLY? ME TOO!’ Now could that be that's just way too far up on the tree for most people to reach for, and the apples on the lower branches are easier to get to (apples on the lower branches are also rotten and touched a lot by a multitude of people not wanting to climb higher). We grow up hearing how love is true wealth - Who fed us this diet of foolishness, and the person who fed us this diet - are they truly prosperous? Don’t get it twisted, people - Stop finding excuses to cover up your not wanting to reach for the sky. Go ahead and say it: ‘I'm too lazy to actually want a huge boatload of money and I don't really believe I can have it anyway - because for me to want a huge boatload of money would entail me actually trying at something and maybe I'll fall flat on my face.’ So I ask is it truly prosperity or just plain lazy?! Today i will take care of myself

Each day I will take care of myself, but today I will think just of this day. When I wake up I will think of the work I hope to get done to make my life better, but I will also think of things I can look forward to and enjoy in this day. I will plan at least one treat-time for myself, perhaps an hour to read a good novel, or making a phone call to a loved one, or spending time in the garden putting in flowers. I know that when I take good care of myself, physically and emotionally, that I am being kind to one of God’s loved ones. Today I will look after my health beginning from the first moments of the day. I will take time for a healthy breakfast, because I know this sets the pattern for my eating in a healthy way throughout the day. I will take a moment to plan lunch and supper, so I do not make unhealthy choices when I am over - hungry and rushed. I will also plan some exercise for myself that is just right for my present level of fitness. I will love myself for who I am right now. Perhaps I will go for a half hour walk so I can also enjoy the outdoors. Tonight I will relax before bed and give myself enough sleep for the next day. Today I will do my best to speak kindly and encouragingly to myself as well as others. Just as with everyone else in this world, I need this kindness to be at my best. I accept myself as I am because I know I am a good person, sincere, and I make an effort. If I make mistakes or can’t get everything done, I will forgive myself easily and try again tomorrow. I will praise myself for everything I do well, and everything I try to do. I know that it is encouragement that will help me to grow as a person and be my best. This day I will protect myself from harm. I will not cause harm to myself by treating myself badly or being harsh and judgmental. I will not let others do that to me, either. I will protect myself from influences that make me feel bad about myself or discouraged or depressed. At the end of this day I will give myself credit for a job well done. This day I did my best, whatever that was. Each day I practice taking care of myself, I will get better at it, so each day I practice, I am getting better. I will think of those things I enjoyed today and things I did well, and look forward to a new day tomorrow. I will remember the love my loved ones have for me, that I have for me, and that God has for me. Today I will make my life better. Today, I will spread peace and love in this world. Today, I will speak my heart and for my soul.

The most powerful source of information spirituality information

" You are sweet but very stubborn" my close friend told me ten years back. I was not ready to accept the fact that i was stubborn. Over the years many other people pointed that out to me. They told me "Vish, you say the right things but you hurt people. You have to change your attitude..." I experimented with various ways of changing my attitude but all of them failed. It seemed as if stubbornness was deep rooted in me....After a while i stopped thinking about it as It did not bother me as much as it hurted others ... However, one day I read something which completely revolutionized my thought process... I don't recall the name of the book I read but these were the first few lines written inside the book which I had noted down: "The first piece of paper as we know it was produced from rags in AD 105 by Ts'ai Luin, who was part of the Eastern Han Court of the Chinese Emperor Ho Ti. Paper is made from cellulose fibre, the source of which can be pulped wood, or a variety of other materials such as rags, cotton, grasses, sugar cane, straw, waste paper, or even elephant dung .... " As I read these sentences it hit me like a rock inside...... " How can rags, waste or elephant dung produce the paper which is used in many books, magazines and newspapers serving as a means of education, a source of information and inspiration to millions of people worldwide ? I could'nt accept the fact that beautiful words could be written on a paper which was made of waste, or elephant dung? How can this ever happen? What makes all this these things work? If technology can achieve such massive transformation or recycling with waste , why cannot I do the same thing with my stubbornness and with every other quality within me which I considered a waste?..... As i pondered about all these at length I could see that it was not the technology which was the main factor in the conversion of waste to paper. It was the genuine intention, a brilliant idea, a deep desire to convert even the waste to gold. The question that Ts'ai Luin asked himself was " How can I convert this waste, rags into something meaningful, something more purposeful ......" It was the quality of his questions which was driven by his honest intentions which set in motion a force which was so powerful that it allowed him to tap into various sources of information not accessible to the ordinary person and gave him all these brilliant ideas. The questions that you ask yourself can make a huge difference to the answers and results you get. The questions infact on most of the occasions reveal your real intention. Ask a better question and you will get a better answer ..... I asked myself. ...." How can i convert my stubbornness so that it gives me more power and at the same time it does not hurt anyone?" Over the next few months i kept refining my questions and waited for better answers and ideas to come. Slowly a soft voice spoke from within " Redirect your stubborness to your highest dreams. Be stubborn about your dreams and nothing else...." I was stubborn about small things and small events and that is the reason it hurted others. The moment i became stubborn only about my dreams which was to realise the force of God every moment and to help others realise this same force in them, things slowly started to turn around for me.... Just like the technology which converted the rags into paper i built a system within me where i channeled all my waste to enter into a more powerful area within me . I allowed my waste to participate in my dreams and form a vital part in the success of my dreams. I did not allow my waste to spill over small things and small events. It took me some time, but i built a robust system inside me where i could at will redirect all my anger, pain, stubbornness, weakness to something more powerful and strong... The weakness did not disappear from my body and mind, I only redirected it to something better, something more powerful. It is important that you understand this. All You need to get started is ask a better question... Weakness and bad traits get exposed only when you swim in shallow waters. When you swim in the ocean of your dreams they change colours to merge into divinity. There is nothing wrong with your character the only problem was you did not redirect the lower ones to your highest dreams... Experience Awesome power and convert all your weakness to massive strengths by practising the " The Seven Powerful Secrets ....

Two proven techniques that successful people do to triple their time in a day

They say that time is much more important than wealth. Most effective people think so. They know how to get more time in a day, and they have mastered the art of utilizing time effectively to do more productive things that contribute to their advancement or success. So how do they do it? Proven Technique Number 1 - They delegate and assign simple routinary tasks to other people so that they can have more free time to do as they please. This is very elementary but of great significance. If you have the money, hire people to do the housework, the repairing, and even some of your office jobs. Let others do the research. But of course, you have to reward them accordingly so they will get motivated to render their services again. You can then focus on the more important things in life, like planning and managing your activities. Proven Technique Number 2 - They plan seriously. The less time you think you have, the more critical it is for you to plan. By planning carefully, you’ll be able to manage your time better and avoid costly mistakes that eat up much more of your time. You might say that you’re so busy you don’t even have time to plan. Maybe you can insert some time planning while doing your other activities. The planning phase is very important in organizing your thoughts to carry out the desired effects. You might say that this is boring stuff, but you should never underestimate this process. This is like a guideline to steer you into the right direction. Your plan will be your road map. Spend enough time to ponder through the different approaches and activities, and you will soon realize that you can save a lot more time by doing this. It will be best if you can choose a quiet place to make your plan. Your mind can focus and think more clearly this way. Every individual has his unique perception of a well-made plan. There are no specific rules in making it. But in case you're in a tight situation, let me give you some tips. 1. Write down your objective. This is a precise definition of your target. 2. Brainstorm the strategies & tactics you will employ to accomplish your objective. 3. Assess the advantages & disadvantages of carrying out those strategies & choose those tactics where the pros outweigh the cons. 4. Set a timeline or deadline in completing your mission. 5. Make modifications & back-up plans in case Plan A doesn't work. 6. As your plan evolves, you will gain experience. Learn from your mistakes. Most important of all, don’t delay. Start applying what you have learned today, and have lots of great time!
